Black Square Baron and Bonanza released

TimHH already has a couple of attractive repaints up on fs.to. He's a manaic! :)

These look great, but and though expensive the bundle's a pretty good deal if you'll fly both given how detailed they are. Might pick them up down the road -- there are still a lot of recent planes in my hangar I need to sign off on first. I'd have broken down and bought the package if there had been a V-tail Bonanza, but alas, it's the modern version.

I bought the pair. I received a 20% discount because I had the 2020 version. I haven't flown them, however. I am having trouble getting my Quest 3 to connect with 2024. Maybe today?

I have both running in MSFS2024 & so far am quite satisfied with how they are flying. Using the PMS50-GTN750 Lite GPS I can run ILS approaches without any issues.
Installation was a bit lumpy. Initially the installer was looking for some obscure files in my C:/---- Community folder, which it couldn't find, but after I pressed 'Ignore" several times, the installation continued successfully.
You get 3 types for the Baron & Bonanza & all can be flown in MSFS 2020 & MSFS 2024 so you could argue you are getting 6 different aircraft.

Ok, i give up...

Can any of you barons or baronesses please explain where the heck these 3 spoiled princesses of the skies are supposed to have setup their royal chambers because i can't for the life of me find them anywhere....?!

According to the Contrail installer they both installed fine but nothing to see in the FS2024 aircraft menu, just the default Baron and Bonanza. (i flipped the sim selector to FS2024 in the Contrail thingamabob). No Baron nore Bonanza folders in Community or StreamedPackages. Checked FS2020 too to be sure. Also searched for 'Black' : Blackbirdsim is all i got.

Anyway, the installation via Contrail installer seemed to work flawlessly, even took a minute or two, but all i still have is the two Baron and Bonanza zip files (manually installing them returns an error message) and nothing, zero, nada to fly.... These Contrail boys & grils have to seriously get their installer act together. Same thing happend before (can't remember with which product)... prettty irritating :dejection:

Do you have more than one Community folder by any chance? Addon Linker creates one of it's own and that often seems to catch people out when installing new aircraft and scenery.

Thanks Tiger ! (i love gorillas myself ;-)

Checked both my C and D SD's for Community and Baron as well but no dice (brand new machine so didn't take long) Sure found the Community folders for FS2020 and FS2024 of course and some other 'community' stuff but all even before 2025. But actually i don't use Addon Linker. Works perfectly for me to just get zip files and install the stuff directly into the Community folders of FS2020 and 2024. Works fine everytime because it rhymes.

Where the heck did Contrail park my baron and bonanza ?? ..... ( i selected the bundle to be installed, not the seperate baron and bonanza and i noticed just now this little dark red placard underneath the names : not installed.... . How about that, huh....) Oké then ! Installed again but this time the seperate Baron and Bonanza. According to Contrail installer again installed fine, both of them. Checked the Community folders : again nothing, niente, zero, nada....

Thanks anyway, Tiggie :encouragement:

Where exactly did the Contrail Installer place your Baron and Bonanza folders, Twice ?......

(i didn't see Contrail looking for files or anything like that so i couldn't click 'ignore'..... ;-)

Do not have Contrail, but the JF installation for MSFS 2024 put the Baron & Bonanza in 1 of my 2 Community folders.
They went onto the:
C:\Users\YrName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Community
folder.
I also found I had to put the PMS50-GTN750 in there too before the Bonanza & Baron would recognize the PMS50 GPS. (An option on the EFB/ set up menu)
It looks like downloads may have to go in the C:---- Community folder. My other Community folder, which is on the S:\G\MS2024 drive does have content such as the A2A Comanche, Inibuilds A300 & so on, so I am not sure what determines which Community folder should be used, but if I install manually in the S:\G\MS2024 & I can't see the aircraft, moving it to the C:\ Community folder usual works.

PS - I should have mentioned the folders you will be looking for, the ones that hold all the aircraft data, are:
bksq-aircraft-bonanzapro and bksq-aircraft-baronpro
