Black Square Rockwell Commander 114 On Its Way

Black Square mentioned the Aero Commanders in a recent post about their new state saving workaround for Asobo's broken system. So they're in active development.

Gonna have to pick up the 114. I've been enjoying the heck out of the Baron/Bonanza bundle, and the avionics in the 114 look interesting. Plus, it's just a slick looking aircraft.

Yep looks like all the buses are coming at once next week.........I'm hoping for Rara Avis Sims Jodel D9 Bebe....., and a freeware Jonkers JS3 sailplane, although they maybe a little further down the line. The Rockwell does look tempting though, as does Gotfriends Taylorcraft -trying to stave of the purchase of Justflights Arrows in its sale at the moment....

Wow. My first flight showed me that this will become my new favorite light single. I did notice one very minor bug (the pitch trim wheel animation seems to be reversed), but this, I think, is Black Square's best work yet.

Also, thanks in part to it not being MP-exclusive, it's very easy to customize the livery and interior (if you're into that kind of thing).

On my list but I'll wait a week or two for all the initial bugs to be sorted out........ yep I wish more developers would provide an alternative to the Marketplace. It worries me a little that MS is going after a 'monopoly' situation. People have pointed out they could pull the plug anytime if things weren't financially viable for them and that kinda feels like being held to ransom. Not sure I want to invest too heavily in a sim that could 'disappear' overnight...... I still have FSX/P3D4 and XP11 and tbh honest although the are graphically inferior there are many advantages to them especially FSX/P3D4...just the sheer volume of add on's produced for that sim is one....I am thinking of maybe checking out XP12 as well........
