Video just popped up on YouTube. I'm on the road, so haven't confirmed if it's available in the marketplace yet...

Not sure why this YouTube link isn't working??? Anyway, it's on the Microsoft Flight Simulator YouTube channel

Wish you could get rid of the back seater.

Excited to grab this! There’s a 24 hour free trial, too.

I heard the discounted release price is $14. For that, it's an easy buy for me.
Thanks for posting the video link. I really need to figure out how to properly post media links...

Ugh, I hate Microsoft's legal being ridiculously anal about things like NASA logos, so we end up with stuff like two NASA T-38s with no NASA insignia.

Or how about leaving the "AF" off of USAF because reasons?

Hopefully the talented repainters out there will get hold of the textures sooner than later.

For YouTube, I literally just copied and pasted the link and the forum software handled the embedding.

Oh, praise baby Jorg, it looks like if you download the plane, the liveries aren't encrypted:

So there's hope the talented folks in the community can fix the stupid "we can't mention the USAF or NASA because licenses" default liveries.

I'll be interested to see if they're really not encrypted. Most planes, when downloaded, have the ktx2 files visible; but when you try to extract them, they fail. My extraction program always says, "unrecognized format," or something like that. If it's true that these can be extracted, maybe MS/Asobo are turning over a new, very positive leaf.

You can use the VFSProjector with streamed aircraft to read the textures and they are definitely unencrypted.
All the markings are in a stencil file, which is a risk for repaints - not all locations will be mapped.

I've used the nVidia extractor to make a full-USAF wing text livery BUT FS24 won't load it - 'wrong format'.
I suspect the GlTf (?) file might specify the file needs to be extended-KTX2 format and thus the SDK needs to build the file.

Meanwhile, it's a VERY good aircraft, and a blast to fly from the rear seat (need to configure a bone-dome pilot first).
Back to Falcon, just two hours lost...

Well, seeing as I had a hand in developing the original FSX?P3D version and even made a YouTube (my one and only) video on fling the overhead break and pattern, I am forced by loyalties to buy this jet. Besides, I have never been able to get the infinity version's afterburners to work and I am tired of trying. I assume this is a Marketplace purchase.

Flak9's script to the rescue, I've regenerated my KTX2 file and now all good.
Adds another livery 'Livery 1 - 64302 - USAF' with the obvious change :)
I couldn't replace the original livery as it's read-only (possibly downloading will fix this?)
Really need to do several more USAF and NASA livery fixes...I've included the PDN and PNG files - you don't need these unless you are needing help in doing your own fixes.

Also available at https://flightsim.to/file/103671/usaf-wing-marking-for-frequent-flyer-t-38/742790 without the work files.

P3D manual available at https://www.milviz.com/Online_products/Manuals/T-38A_User_Guide_P3Dv4.pdf
Should be useful...

Really appreciate the fix, @keithb77! Much less distracting than the weird "US" on the wing.

If you want to go all out, the Edwards bird this is based on also has U.S. Air Force on the sides as well:

Also, from discussions on the MS forum, it sounds like Blackbird wasn't contracted to do a manual... There are a bunch of USAF/NASA flight manuals for the real plane on this site: https://www.usaf-sig.org/index.php/...ders/38-type-specific/127-t-38-talon-northrop
