The only way this will work for me is in window mode. If I start the flight in full screen there is no effect until I switch to windowed. If I try to switch back to full screen Fsx locks up. If I start the flight in window mode the effect is there, but locks up if I try to change to full screen. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi, thanks for posting. I like this a took two pics to show the before and after using this dll, also no adjustments were made as to editing this to my liking, so thanks also on posting info as to how to customize this. Awesome link.

Thank you; I took your suggestion and modified this
ScreenLevelDay=70
to
ScreenLevelDay=60
as well because the Bloom intensity was totally overwhelming.

Glad I'm not the only one, Bruce. I either get lock-ups in full-screen with this DLL, or my textures drop to their lowest mip and get super blurry. I'm using it with a GeForce 8800GT (512MB) card, and the 182.06 drivers. Definitely a no-go here.

I am running an 8800gt 512mb also with drivers 182.48 and am having no trouble going back and forth to 2d or 3d. Running a screensaver has no effect either. Sorry you are having so much problem with this, as it really does make a big diference for me. I am going to try it with fs9 soon.
Gera, if you can explain how to get a bloom effect using only my Nvidia driver or my monitor adjustments, I'm all ears!
Amigo....Bloom, Blam, Blim......by the pics I have seen here I just see exactly what I get by adjusting the monitor´s, brightness and contrast controls, same for the Nvidia controls................show me what you call "Bloom" like you get with just the regular FSX bloom effect and I will concede and fall down!!!!:ernae:
PS....Our Russian Friend and Fellow pilot must have had to much Vodka when he sat to write this......nice guy!!!

Just tried it with FS9 and it works fine. I just put the INI and DLL file in the main folder and booted up. Looks real nice
same thing I did - FS9 boots to a white screen, or not at all. If I use "Shift+F12" to turn it off (in sim), then instantly the problem is resolved - but then, of course the module is turned off and is doing me absolutely no good whatsoever...

Hi Guys and Girls ! Ive been using this mod for about a year now, i had the white screen at first but then downloaded an earlier version of the mod, works with both fs9 & FSX

Hey guys.....if you just use your Monitor adjustments and or your driver´s you can get exactly the same results!!!!!! Mamma Mia!!!!!!

Gave this another try today. Started the flight with the aircraft at the ramp. My graphics card was immediately maxed out with the trees growing into the stratosphere. I'll give this up for now.

Having some fun testing this in my racesims as well. In rFactor the effect is barely noticable, but it might require some tweaking. In GTR2 the default effects work pretty well, and the bloom effects look great from the cockpit view. The cars look a bit shinier from the outside.
The ENB works best in GTR Evolution, but it appears the anti-aliasing suffers in this sim. might have to tweak the graphics a bit more. The light effects are an improvement IMHO.
