Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

BlueBird Simulations 757 Passenger Released!

Looks fantastic and like an awesome effort, but I don't even want the level of detail that justifies a whopping $80 price tag.

Good on y'all tubeliner FMS fans who get a new toy to play with, though! It looks like a fantastic simulation for folks who want that level of systems immersion.

Me, I'll spend the money on three or four fun bush planes and see if this ever goes on sale. Sadly, if the Maddog is any indicator, it never will.

According to the wailing and gnashing of teeth at Avsim, Bluebird's server is currently very overloaded. I'd give it at least another 12 or 18 hours to unblock.

The 757 is a possibility for me, but maybe next year. PMDG's 777-300ER, Aerosoft's A340-600 and Just Flight's Fokker 70 & 100 are taking up all my airliner time at present.

Pretty excited about this "sports car" of a tubeliner; but I'm definitely waiting for the native 2024 version. Plus the finally-out-of-beta Embraer E-jets look pretty good and have a native 2024 version supposedly coming in December. I've spent a lot of time riding in E-175s, so I'd like to try flying one for a change.
