Fantastic Spit! Its great to have a nativity built quad cannon Mk.Vc!
Now just a few nit picky things. On the Mk.Vc Spits, they should not be armed with four .303 machine guns in addition with the cannons. The C-model wing allowed for a combination of either four 20mm cannons, or two 20mm cannons and four .303. I added a .tct file which should make the Vc for the correct gun load out.
I also noticed that the guns are calibrated to fire in the downward stream, and you can't really use the VC gun sight effectively for gunnery. Easy to change with moving the eye point around and re-figuring the guns.
Here's the eye-point entry that looks a little better.

update:
VC, and VB .txt files are corrected dps, for gun load out and calibration. Guns are calibrated to cross at 500ft and have an elevation of 10ft.
Bruno this is a plane that is a quantum leap for CFS2, absolutely stunning and flies like I expect a Spitfire V to fly. Is there any chance that you will give us a VC with only two 20mm cannon so that we Pacific fans can skin it in RAAF colours? Once again a truly superb plane![]()
I must confess I'm rather proud of this Spit ! :redf:
Wulf,
nice to see picky customers !
Nevertheless, I beg to differ on the C wing armament, indeed had 1 or 2 cannons and 2 0.303 MG, as shown one the attached extract from the "Spitfire MkV Explored" DVD (amazingly detailed source by the way !)...:redf:
As for the guns calibration you are right, I calibrated them for the 2D panel as I mostly use that one... A matter of personal choice I guess, and thanks for providing an alternative for the 3D panel lovers![]()
I must confess I'm rather proud of this Spit ! :redf:
