Burning Blue's Enhanced Global Vegetation

Lots of hands-on opinions in the Avsim thread Paul linked. I wasn’t interested until I read those. At $10, I’ll give it a shot. Bijan’s product is amazing, but it triggers an “underground trees” MSFS bug that ruins my local field and he’s leaving it in Asobo’s court to fix that.

I've uninstalled Bijan's seasons enhanced for now. Seems like it needs some work after SU6, especially the area around KJAC. I've emailed him about it, and it seems like he is trying to get a handle on it, but so far no luck.

I wish it was $10 its showing $14.86 for me.

10 pounds.

It looks quite enticing! I have Bijan Seasons also. But I do believe I may have to give this a try. I can always go back to Bijan Seasons should I wish.

Just got ot, now to uninstall Bijan Seasons from SimMarket, run a reg edit, and install this package. Will not have much time to try it out. I have a Heart & Vascular blood suck at 11:00 and need a shower.

I have it currently installed and Bijan Seasons in Community Backup. No issues with interacrion in thje sim. Ground textures are better than Bijan (if Bijan uses their own ground textures), Tree tersture are a little too tall and abundant, even on High, muich less Ultra. Because of the extreme drought we are having in south-cebtralVirginia, trees are already losing their leaves and some even have a little color. These are all full and green. It also seems that Bijan Seasons has more non-deciduous trees that this package for my area (lots of pines and cedars here). It's worth the price, but I have a felling I am going back to Bijan Seasons, strictly for the trees. The small scenery is of a small local community named Turbeville, Virginia that I did.

Interested in your initial reactions after implementing it.

It's the first tree/vegetation add-on I've used, so I have nothing to compare it to ( such as Bijan's releases ). It's almost a subliminal thing - I am now seeing a normal vista of rural Norfolk, something I am accustomed to in real life, and therefore it's probably easier to point out what's wrong with the default scenery! I'll 'survey' other parts of the world I'm familiar with, but so far this is probably the best £11 I've spent in a long time.

I'm waiting for it to hit Marketplace, as that's where I bought Seasons (because I didn't want to deal with Bijan's custom installer) and if I have both packages in MP, it'll be easier to swap between them using the sim's add-on manager.

Take back all I said, a comparison image of my brother's house (center with two white cars parked in front) in Danville, VA from Bing Earth and one from MSFS 2024 with this package installed. Not so much about the generic houses, but Flying Fries nailed the trees pretty darn ghood for animation!

I've had it for a couple of days now & just completed a low level GA flight in Denmark.
The main difference I notice at the moment is that the vegetation types & heights, groupings & placements are more varied than stock MSFS & appear more realistic. I did have Bijan's, mainly for color variations, but I will keep checking out BB. So far, okay.
