Don't know if you guys remember but I had an Easter Island statue in the between the runways at Seattle.Well know he's gone with my latest install. Kinda miss the big guy.
 
They were called Moai and were known to walk. When early explorers found the island they would ask the natives how the statues got where they were as they are monstrous things. The Rapa Nui people who lived there had been taught be word of mouth that the Moai walked to were they were. It had been a long time since any Rapa Nui had seen the event but they walked.
