Any news on the AE C-47/DC-3? It was “nearing release” on 5 Feb. Looking forward to it. Will the DC-3 have airstairs?

C-47s are just about there. Currently finalising the DC-3 pack. The DC-3 will come with a choice of Pratt&Whitney or Wright engines, British/European style left door (drop down airstairs) , C-47-style pax/cargo doors, American-style left door and larger baggage compartment and American-style right door configurations. This allows for just about any livery you want to use. There are 36 extra liveries which will come via separate livery packs. The base packs have 9 liveries for the C-47 and 8 for the DC-3. :engel016:

Hi C.

We are accutely aware (and very flattered) that people are anxious for the release. We are on what could be called final now with manual authoring, effects sounds and other cherries for the top. Truly, we are so close you could taste it.:engel016:

I downloaded a video of the start sequence for the C-47/DC-3 but cannot find it. Can someone please point me to the link.

Pat, the start procedures have changed with SP1.1. The GPU/StartCart is now toggled with a groundpower switch on the right eyebrow panel. You still need to have the crew door open to access it but it can be started with the groundpower switch. Internal battery starts are also possible and there is a "ready-to-go" option switch on the new 2D panel. So hings are alittle different since the video was made.

Thanks for that information Bazz. I will try it out when I finish with my appointments this morning. Can't complain about the service provided by AH :applause:.
