Calclassic Update

Jagdflieger

Jr. Admin
For those of you that use the Calclassic AI addons, they have updated versions with new airplanes and new liveries. It is a pretty extensive update and now includes amphibious aircraft in a few places.

For all of you that enjoy flying in the late 50s or early 60s, this is a must have for your FS 9 sim.

Check it out at:

http://www.calclassic.

Thanks for announcing this. :)

If you downloaded it before Wednesday morning (i.e. a few hours ago), you probably want to download and install files # 1, 2, and 4 again - I forgot to update some cfg files, resulting in planes in the air/in the ground, and gray planes without textures. Sorry about that.

The MATS traffic has also been updated, but mostly just a few traffic additions. However, the C-97, C-118A, and C-131 now have "high quality" options, using the Greg Pepper model as the highest LOD (and textures that you find and download from the web).

Hope this helps,

I rcvd the e-mail notification and went to the AI section-- yes, all the way to the bottom -- and scrutinized ALL the "last updated" dates, but all I could find were 2009 or 2008. So, not knowing WHICH files had been updated as of Oct. 2011, I gave up.

If someone can clarify ALL which are included in the Oct. 4 notification, I'd be MOST appreciative! :salute:

I'm downloading mine now; packs 1 thru 8 all have "updated October" by them now, if that helps?

Hawkeye,

The new AI are the top additions to what's new on the home page. Just click on the latest add on and it will take you to the download page.

Hi again,

If the What's New section doesn't look like the image above, press the Reload/Refresh button on your browser.

Also if the dates of files 1 through 8 on this page:

http://www.calclassic.com/AIAircraft.htm

are not from 10/3/11 or 10/5/11 then your browser is displaying an old cached file. Reload the page and you should get the updated one.

Hope this helps,

Hi again,

Glad that worked.

One small update - 5 DC-3 liveries were missing; you will get gray planes. To fix this, download and install file #1 again.

Sorry,
