Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

I am trying to paint W.Nr 16416 which was found abandoned in Tunisia and was sent to the Evaluation Branch in Ohio.
There it received an American-style olive and grey scheme.
Do the colors look about right as I painted it?
Another thing are those fonts on the tail. They look too heavy to me. Does anybody know of a simular font but more narrow?

Many years ago I created and released a series of fonts for vintage military aircraft and this looks close to my 2:1 aspect ratio characters with 45 degree corners, which I called "RAF_45D_841ATH". (My biggest regret about these fonts was not giving them cooler names.) You would need to add those lines for the stencil cutouts. You can find it around the web, one source is:

That ist one serious collection - thank you(y)

The numbers look a lot like the tail numbers used on P-51's. Maybe this will help? You'll still have to draw the EB though.
