I bought the 2024 version. Is there a discount for the 2020 version for those of us who had bought the 2024 model? NC

I thought the 2024 version would get you an entitlement for the 2020 version. But not yet. I don’t fly 2020 anymore but loaded it today to check for this. Nope.

This encrypted nonsense is frustrating. People using the older sim have access to customize and adjust, and people using the "flagship" sim are far more limited. MSFS2024 is a huge step forward, but definitely with a few small steps backward.
Hopefully, the texture layout on the Mentor is pretty much the same between the 2020 and the 2024 versions, so that any 2020 liveries that may show up can be easily converted into 2024 formats.
I haven't purchased this plane (which was one of my favorites back in FSX) due to the Marketplace encryption, and I'm certainly not going to buy it twice just for the privilege of being able to view the files. Yeesh.
