Cell phone users, post your ringtone!

Oddly enough, my cell phone's ringtone sounds like a telephone! Imagine that!

At least this way, I can tell when it's MY cellphone ringing whenever I'm out in public... :bump:

Not that I use one ... but mine sorta makes this noise ...

LoL'd!

On a sidenote, I find my smartphone to be a rather bad vibrator (no double entendre intended). While I used to feel my old Sony phone in my trouser's front pocket every time someone called, my Samsung is simply too quiet. I'm really missing all incoming calls when I'm not sitting still somewhere and my surrounding is quiet, despite having the vibrating alert and ringtone upped to the max.

And speaking of ringtones, here's my current one:

The showcase tunes from NFS2 are perfect for the job, since they're short, straight to the point all while featuring some diversity.

I never have set up a special ringtone on my phone, but when I eventually get around to it, it will probably be this!

Hey All,

If my two kids ever start paying for their own phones instead of me paying then I'll be able to justify having one... I'll probably use either (or both) of these.

seconds 6 to 13 or so

I keep mine set to Vibrate 24/7 for everything that my phone does. I work in a semi-professional setting and nothing screams un-professional quite as loudly as an obnoxious audible ring-tone. Kinda like the office whistler, you know the one that has to whistle to every song he hears and does so in a mono-tone flat drone. No place in an office setting.

Here are my two...

All mobile phone ringtones are a pain in the a...!
But more so, the people that answer them whilst sitting next to you on a train, giving away half of their private life! Who cares?
I guess it makes them feel "better"!

So, can I safely assume that you do not have ringtones to post Stuart?

If it makes you feel any better, I usually just pick up and reply that I'll call back later whenever I'm in an unsuitable situation for a telephone conversation.

Not really! Mine goes "Ring Ring", like one of the old fashioned desk phones.
I don't mind the original songs mentioned, but converted into ringtones, they are just a distorted mess! I tend to start playing "Guess the tune?".
Even worse when they are monophonic! Since the invention of MP3, it's not quite as bad... I always get one out of ten!

I agree with you on that one! Most of the phones nowadays, even the basic ones, can play MP3s, so there's no reason to have the monophonic ones!
LOL!
And I like the regular "ring ring" as well. When I get tired of the songs, I switch it to the regular "ring ring".

...and should my other half ring, it's an air raid siren! :jump:

Okay I confess, I have A ring tone. Its for a special friend.
