SOH-CM-2025
Doing a reinstall of FS9 at the moment, and loading up some favorites, ive noticed on some of the German cloud9 repaints have small white patches on the tops of the body and white tail fins, im trying to work out if im missing texture or if thats part of there scheme, its usually easy to tell missing textures but these look like they fit and i think i have seen pics of real world F4's painted like this,
cheers, scView attachment 35141ratching my head a little, ian

Hi everybody. To my knowledge, these defined painted areas were used to help with post air combat training video analysis. Especially when doing A2A with similar F-4Fs, these markings help to distinguish the different fighters when viewing the gun triggered color video tape or in former times the gun camera film. The mainly used colors were white, bright orange, yellow and a light blue.

Some F-4 have air combat ID Markings in white, red, yellow or blue for better identification while performing air combat trainings.

Sorry to OT, but TBolt, who's Jug is that in your Avatar, love the cowl, reminiscent of the tourers of the '30s. Very nice.
