Contrail App Download Speeds.

Hi All,

I just wanted to ask if any of you have downloaded anything via the Contrail App recently?

I've encountered an issue where I am getting very poor download speeds of around 0.18mb/s, while downloading the //42's Circle B Ranch (now at going for 2+ hours). Whereas before I had no issues with download speeds using their app.

I've downloaded large files via iniManager, Orbx, PMDG Operation Center & a number of other websites/programs, without any issues with download speeds at all.

I sent an email to Contrail support regarding the issue, but they're adamant there is no issue at their end. They stated they were downloading via a CDN Server, which I assume refers to a Canadian Server? Where I'm in the UK.

Am I the only one?

My Contrail App had a scenery update for me this morning and it went fast as greased lightning ️here! (near KBHM) south east USA

Hi,

Just wanted to post an update.

It appears to be affecting TalkTalk customers in the UK as they've had a few others having the same issue.

Contrail support sent out another version of their app that allowed a different downloading process, which worked. They also suggested that I contact TalkTalk with some settings that they could try at their end...
