Beautiful, Jan! I think I'll have to mount the F4U tonight again after a little hiatus.

Cheers,

Thanks for the repaint! I did the original FD for this plane for Milviz and for whatever reasons A2A prefered to use one they derived from AirWrench. Mine is avalable at SOH and one is free to complare them.

As a result no one ever gave me any skins for this bird, the only one I have is a glossy "TEST" skin by Stiz.

The 122 bird is a well know war horse, the photos of it on the "ramp" at Munda is widely destributed.

Cheers: Tom

Fantastic job Jan, any chance of a nicely weathered British FAA one to go with the new victorious that was released!

Tom,

Any chance you could point me in the right direction. Tried to find this on SOH and was unable.

Thank you

It's really a fun and somewhat challenging plane to land on deck, and the amazing part is that you end up with the same trim settings as for takeoff for final approach. M. Davies, CV10 is a good platform, or the CVE's if you are really a glutton for punishment. I must have done a couple of hundred deck landings trying to get the "manners" as close as I could.

Thanks for the great paint!! T
