(I say payware, but I see at the website it's virtually being given away!)

Wanaka is just north of the New Zealand tourist playground of Queenstown, and is one of the finest airshow venues I've attended.
The Rat just feels at home there...

ok I looked into the bad texture on the #5 Rata.
I recompressed the texture and up loaded the patch to Simviation.
But if you cant wait here is how you fix it. Open the texture.1 folder of the rata. Then take texture "stI1602" and put it through DXTBMP------> YOU CAN GET THE PROGRAM HERE FOR FREE.

start the dxt progam, and load the bit map "stI1602" AS A" NORMAL IMAGE" Then save it as a "Extended Bit map" at either "DXT 3" Or "888 32 BIT' Let the editor do its thing and then put the texture file back in the rata from where you took it.
start flight sim and go for a fly it should be there working.

some how in the final organizeing of the files one of the textures got mixed up

Any ways do that and the flat texture will suddenly get all of its great beauty.

Now if you dont want to do this you can wait for the patch to pop up on simviation in a day or so. Pete Daly is on holidays but for me he usually makes exceptions..:0)
