Crash North Korean Mig in China

Looking at the antenna on top, the deltawing and the small air intake below the fin I'd say it's a MiG-21UM; the tail looks a bit odd, but it appears parts have been ripped off.
 
From the one picture on the CNN page, I see no evidence of fire at the crash site - supporting a supposition that the plane may have run out of fuel, regardless of the intentions of the pilot.

It is a MiG21 by the shape of its fuselage, spine, tail and wings... the tail appears to be damaged from the crash. It appears like it crash landed, pancaking on a field and colliding with stuff as it went.
