DC-2 X Released!

Great pictures! Glad that you like it, thanks :ernae:
Looking forward to more textures, I thought we may have got more included with it but its no biggie!

Yes, we thought about it. But at the end we decided to include only three liveries to keep the file size down. So that even people with slower internet connections will have a chance to download the file.

But you can find already ten liveries at Avsim. Tomorrow I will upload a few more. And it's my plan to release all liveries of the FS9 DC-2 also for the FSX version of the DC-2 :)

Greetings
Tim

Very, very nice! Great work guys. :applause:

This is one of the few FSX aircraft projects that has never left my "To Buy" list.

I would love to have posted a pic or two in the new AAL livery, but by the time I killed three sets of engines learning how to take off and then 15 minutes trying to get the auto-pilot to take over, it's now to dark outside. :)

Worth every moment of the long wait while you've been crafting this beauty .

Thank You!

Very much looking forward to that orange Dutch version!!

Hi Jeff,
Tim will there be a paint kit?
yes, there will be a paint kit. Although it will not be a layered paint kit because the original DC-2 textures are photoreal and not built up from scratch. So all I can offer are bitmap-based repaint templates :)

Greetings
Tim

A graceful DC-2 that loves the Arctic. I'm hopelessly addicted to the DC-2. Best purchase this month. Top job to all of the UIVER Team:ernae:.

Bought the plane via Flight1. Simply awesome and a "must have" for me.

Thank you for your hard work :icon29:

Everyone posting wonderful screenshots but, CG_1976, how did you get location marked? I think I've seen that used before but my mind can't recall how to do it. Could you explain? I suppose it is easy and common and I'm asleep in class again.

I see you are having all a lot of fun with it, and I'm glad no one is reporting serious issues. I'm happy so far, enjoy the old lady.!

Cheers, Rob

Oh yes, Rob, she is brilliant. I love the 2d inspection panel to manage the systems. I just took off from Lelystad and Iam on my way to London :)
I have to print all the manual stuff. Lots of good reading.
Cheers,
Lucas

Hoping to see the real bird finally today! I have sat in or flown a number of aircraft that have been done for FS, but this one should be special, and given the quality of the graphics work, I expect it to look quite familiar!

Cheers: t

Rob,
Can you provide any assistance for Shockwave lights for your new DC-2 X? I would like to increase the landing lights and VC lighting....

Rick

How do you keep from kill the engines! I burn them up all the time? Scanned and manual found nothing about how to keep the red engine lights off?
