All - I had SimMarket to change the product name (and link) - it was their initiative to call it "the REAL F-35"...
Surely it is not the best move you can think of, commercially, but I always dislike improper use of words... new link below.

Credit for STOVL functionality goes to Rob Barendregt and Mario Motta (of Sim Skunk Works - he provided an excellent and free replacement to FSUIPC to enable Rob's "magic" functionalities)

When in hover mode, target speed is set as follows:
- If the NAV active frequency is locked on one of the supported carriers (default, Javier's Nimitz, Clemenceau) the speed is automatically set to the one of the carrier.
- 0 knots (ground speed) otherwise
Aileron trim controls are used to change the target speed - you may want to assign stick keys to these functions.
