Trying to get back on Discord (atm mainly to help get the Microprose B-17 on course.. ;-) I'm on a new computer, my Discord account is still Oké but i can't find my way thru the rainforest of information exactly how to get back to where i left Discord on my old machine ( just flightsim oriented communication between devs and users in paticular related to MSFS2020 and 24).

I remember years ago even signing up wasn't the easiest thing to do but atleast i found what i wanted after a while. Atm i'm circling around all kinds of help info which doesn't help at all...:stupid:

Can anyone help me find a way to just the flightsim comm department at Discord ?

Thanks!!

The easiest way would be to visit their website here, then mouse over the Microprose heading at the top left to highlight it, then click on the audio-cassette style Discord icon over on the top right (the second one in from the far right).

Thanks a lot, Tiger ! You are truly a guide supreme ! :encouragement:

Found the MP B-17 MSFS stuff too ! It's a great opportunity to talk to the devs or atleast get close but i think the whole setup of the site is quite a bit of chaos. If you're at the right place its absolutely wonderful but getting there is sort of an adventure game from the 1980's... ;-)

I have to remember this, if i get lost again go to the MP site and hit the Discord icon (i'm sure it'll be on some flightsim sites as well). Having a new computer is always sort of a dream come true but getting all my stuff back up and running is sort of a nightmare.

Thanks again, Tiger, going to be fun reading up about the development of the B-17 and other stuff as well ! :ernaehrung004:

Good luck with getting a response from the MP devs.

That said, Sergio who mods the MSFS B-17 forums, is by far the more talkative, and responsive.

So i see, yes ! I guess no actual MP devs joining the party then ?....

I've read several times that feedback is what the're looking for but if the actual devs do not respond to users feedback, just the moderator, you'd wonder if it'll make any difference in the end..

If i would've been responsible for the rediculous scale of the crew i'd go stand in a corner of the hangar with a dunce hat on all day. Remarkable and also forboding that there's just about no reaction to John's feedback about it...

In the end, I keep submitting my issues, with graphics if I can generate them. Also filing them in the correct forum seems to help.

I agree Javis, and maybe with the release on the 9th, hopefully, that issue will be resolved. I've been flying the B-24 with the mod from Flak and it's a really nice flying airplane. CobraMX is the uploader on Flightsim.to and a big thank you goes out to him, Flak and FR for giving us this B-24. I just hope some of our talented individuals on this Forum can continue to make it even better. A B-29 would be totally cool too and of course a B-25. A P-39, P-47. Why not just model all the planes at the Planes of Fame!

Well, it feels great to sit next to the fire. I'll wait to participate after i've finished my first couple circuits. Look forward to it !

In the mean time keep up the good work ! (y)

Hehe, yeah! I had a look and enjoyed viewing the fantastic Planes of Fame collection. We already have quite a number of them either in MSFS2020 and/or 2024, isn't it. If it was for me to make a choice i'd immidiately go for the A-26 and T-28 (because we have a B-17 on finals and a B-25 to follow shortly !. .:). Wouldn't mind an F-84 Thunderstreak and -flash neither, T-2A, FJ-3, F-100.... Too much to choose from really (Convair CV-240 not to forget) it's a wonderful collection !

Never made a plastic model of the B-24... That says a lot ;-) I guess it never appealed to me for some reason. B-17, B-25 and A-26 always been favourite and still are. I think 'sleek, slender and slim' are the words...
