I would imagine the old Commer "knocker" diesels would sound similar - 2 stroke double ended cylinders, etc........aah - wrong country and 40 yrs too late........

Check for the AI repaint
You can use thosde textures with the flyiable plane .. you just have to modify some entry in the aircaft.cfg (manufacturer .. model .. )

The British Chieftain tank had virtual copies of that Junkers engine and was a disaster fitted to a tank, how do I know, from commanding one

I don't know how anybody can imagine the sound of a "six cylinder, twelve piston, two stroke, diesel" engine!
"Vorsprung durch Technik" springs to mind.
It was apparently the only successful diesel fueled aircraft engine.
