Doesn’t Trackir 2 work with CFS3?

Hi

CFS3 is now up and running and here's the next problem:
I use the Trackir software version 3.13 and Trackir doesn’t work when I run CFS3.
It works fine in IL-2 1946 though.

Is there a way to get a Trackir 2 to work with CFS3?

Cheers

I have TrackIR4.1 and had problems gewtting it to work, but non of it was down to CFS3. After toiling through SOH and Naturalpoint TrackIR sites I found certain 3rd party software interferes with it. Security software is a problem Norton & Bullguard which I have tried both need to be turned off, the viruscan and the actual parant security suite if possible. Also almost any Logitech management software will stop it, I have one of their wireless mouse keyboard setups. On top of that it was suggested to me that opening up the software in a particular order is important to, which seems to be right.

  1. Stop security software
  2. Start TrackIR
  3. Stop Logitech
  4. Start CFS3
Anyway this works for me.

Hi

I didn’t have any virus software running when I tested and I don’t have any Logatech software installed either and my OS is: Windows XP Professional SP3.

Is it possible to have “mouse view” in the cockpit, how?
If it is possible I can try to use “Mouse emulation” in Trackir 2.

Cheers

Hi

I asked the same question over at the Natural Point Forum.

And the answer was:
Unfortunately the 3.13 software doesn't have support for CFS3.

So I can forget about using the Trackir2 if it isn't possible to get mouse view in CFS3. Is it?

This little program TiR Attack was the answer..
it pokes into the game code and activates the TrackIr in CFS3 took a few tries .. but Presto!
