Dogfight Server Trial running

Thanks Paul, I think the guys are coming back now... since you started this thread, OFF multiplayers session are becoming easier. We had a 4-5 players session tonight lot of fun. I hope you'll be able to join us soon.

PS. The teamspeak server was a great idea.
 
Thanks Firestorm and Stumpjumper for the games last night. Good effort by everyone to get things moving somewhat smoother. Teamspeak is a great help. I highly recommend it.

I hope you guys had a chance to get Sitting Duck worked out!

I'll try and get back on tonight for some more action.

All in all, might have been a good thing cause I got the feeling I'm gonna get hammered by you guys (visions of rb3 coming back to me..)

I saw the server in the "join game" window. Got the mismatched aircraft a couple of times, eventually got to the point where it asked me what team, you where all playing in the same one by that time, but when I went to join It just sat there.

I'll get on eventually.

Duck got in and mismatched i have a question for you when you installed off was your cfs3 patched to 3.1a and also what versionof pff are you useing are you useing the patch to 1.9e
to make sure when you laod up your off manager lok to the workshop [page right lower corner in the mahager it will tell you

The dvd typhoon sent me does have the 1.9ehotfix.

All I can tell you about the 3.1 patch I have is that it is 4375kb and dated 2.16.04. Have searched for a 3.1a patch with no luck yet, but will keep looking. If you have a site for it please post.

For what its worth, someone did get into the game,,,all I caugt is otto....

Found the patch, so will have to kill everything, patch, and start it up again, hopefully this will solve my problems getting into games.

Ok, patched, and back up. same ip,,, Have Landed, if someone gets on, buzz my plane, and i should hear it, if i can stop working, I will attempt to Fly for a bit.

do you think I have to install off2 over the 3.1a update vrs intalling over the 3.1 then running the 3.1a?

also, when i was browsing thru the forums looking for that link to the 1.9e hotfix, i noticed somthing about running a configurator from the off2 manager. This is the first ive seen anything about that, and never did it.
not sure if its a factor.

And one other thing. Off2 manager runs "windowed" per say, but in the background as there is no icon for it. So in order to get to it, I basically have to close all windows to get to it. Is this the way it is for everybody?

You don't really need the last digit typed in when logging onto a game.

I got on your server. I saw an Se5 on the ground was that you? I tried to chat with you but no answer. Did you ever get Teamspeak straightened out?

Im at work, and didnt know if the game stayed up if i crash, so I just landed. but good to know that I have it to the point where people can get on, maybe that means I will have better luck getting on to others games.

With all the time I spent today on the game, I'm gonne be here late so will leave it up.

If you can give me any feedback on how the game "played" so to speak (ie lag) would appreciate it.

No, dont have teamspeak yet, guess it would be helpfull....
 
Sure it can help

It's easier and faster to reach other players with Teamspeak than in game.

BTW I should be online tonight after PD's session. If anybody want to fly, I would be waiting online on Outlaw Teamspeak server for OFF in + or - 2 hours... I don't know for how much time.

Just got in and flew a quick flight around a bit and it worked like a champ. Thanks for the help Stumpjumper with the 1.9e hotfix file. Maybe later today I can catch someone on the server. Have to get the old 50 cal out now and go to a turkey shoot.
