As Steve most probably won't post appetisers here anymore, I will post a few :biggrin-new:

Still much to do as I will replace what I have borrowed from Green Hornet..... That is paint and some weathering.....

There are several pictures which show that the white of the invasion stripes was removed on the upper surfaces from these attack aircraft. Most likely because the flew low and the white made them easy to spot. And not only for their colleagues. The only picture from the "Joker" I know, shows the white of the stripes on top of the fuselage is almost gone. Although I don't have any evidence I think this was also done on the wings.

Cheers,
Huub

Here is an early wip of my French 1939/40 scheme. This will complete my French collection (for now) once done.

Steve

Hi Steve,

For All Vichy Air Force planes the roundels were bordered by a "big" white circle. After November 42 (end of Vichy Air Force) your roundels are ok and today it is always in use for some planes!

Cheers,

Dear Uncle Milton,

Steve and I go back together for a long time, so I can imagine you sometimes get confused..... but I'm Huub doing the badly weathered things and Steve is the one who can produce 4 repaints in a single day..... So the Vichy DB7 with the yellow cowlings is Steve's and I'm the "joker".... :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub
