Sound Editing

For anyone who wants to follow Gman5250s advice, download Audacity for free and follow the instructions. Its not hard to learn and you can have fun with it.
 
In the Panel/DGSound/CockpitSounds_C47.ini

Using notepad...
Look for these sounds, add and adjust the number in red up or down to adjust desired volume level. Include the comma and space.

Sound121=\panel\DGSounds\C47-SeatShake2.wav, -1000
Sound122=\panel\DGSounds\C47-SeatShake3.wav, -1000

I find that I cannot adjust the artificial horizon.The mouse turns into a hand OK when over the adjustment button but it will not move the AH.

Anybody else find this?

Need the RAAF skin and more working horse? Btw. I finished the new prop textures. Here is the preview (the rest skins will be updated before release).

Try opening the cowl flaps, those darned radials generate a bit of heat.
 
different textures

hello can any show me a picture of the texture used for the Paratrooper version,my add on seems to show the same texture for both versions of this C47 v3,with European Air Transport Services tail no 315221 showing for both aircraft,i have downloaded and installed this add on twice with no change,all the effects are installed I believe correctly,the Tufun add on texture displays correctly and look very good,strangly if I start the sim via the SimlauncerX program the thumbnail picture shows a different texture for the Paratrooper version,but when the sim starts up the good old EATS version is showing,any idea what has gone wrong

Nothing has gone wrong Peter.
The only visual difference between the two versions is the writing
on the overhead below the passenger announcement switches
which is changed to allow parachutist lights instead.
 
Hi

Thanks again for a terrific airplane, however I do have one slight problem, try as I might I can't get the mixture and prop controls to move as one on a middle mouse click as described in the manual. The throttle controls move with no problems I have a Logitech mouse with the middle button assigned to auto-scroll, but have tried other settings on the mouse all to no avail. I use a Siatek X52 pro and have the mixture assigned to the slider and prop assigned to one of the wheels on the throttle part of the X52. So am I doing something wrong, or am I missing something here.
