DSD Simulations Freeware Avro Anson Released! (8/23)

Hi Everyone!

Glad to see everyones enjoying the Anson - the repaints from Jankees look superb!

We're seeing some issues with cockpit clickable compatibility that's stumping me, which has put a stop on development of further versions - it seems the sim isn't liking template switches for whatever reason - keybinds are not working even though the switches are set up identically to default aircraft which work absolutely fine.....

As soon as I can figure it out, I will move on with the Mk2 models and the Civillian C19's, but at the moment I'm just drawing blanks!!

Bear with us!

You gave us a wonderful new toy to play with. No problem whatsoever to wait! Thanks for this wonderful plane!

The evidence of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan is still present on the Canadian prairie, stretching across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Here I fly the JanKees repaint of Anson 9982 over the remnants of its wartime base at Carberry, Manitoba.

An interesting fact... Actor Richard Burton trained here.

For more information, see this page. https://www.mhs.mb.ca/docs/sites/carberryairport.shtml

It's been updated again guys. Cockpit functionality has been restored so the changelog says.

Here's a cool wartime Anson story from down under... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1940_Brocklesby_mid-air_collision
I knew about this from various reference books whilst growing up but recently listened to a podcast (Australia's forgotten histories - not sure what episode number it was) about Leonard Fuller the pilot that landed the planes, his life & in the end tragic death. It was quite an interesting listen.
Might even be worth a repaint?

Oh dear,

JanKees, I'm afraid your color blindness did it again. The wing roundels have a bluegreen centre, not red as the ones on the fuselage.
