Fantastic, been looking out for this one Ron, congrats on the release! :ernae:

Are there some FSX VC screenshots anywhere? I've been waiting for this one for quite some time. :wavey:

Sure, drop down in the FSX Forum for Panel/Interior Shots.
Didn't have time to redo the FS9 ones to FSX but they are same.
Check the Winglets Shots as well..:bump:

One must register to look.

Bill, those are FS9 shots but they do help folks a bit...
Haven't the time right now to do a full FSX session.:wavey:

As a very happy longstanding ES Cit II pilot, this is more than tempting - but can someone clarify whether this bird has an autothrottle?

Or am I just confusing my terminology? Is FADEC the same thing (since I understood not)? Bottom line: am I going to have to add the price of registered FSUIPC to get A/T functionality?

Thanks.

Ok, the real world CX does not have Autothrottle but does have FADEC.
FADEC is Full AuthorityDigital Engine Control. That is a description of electronic thrust control and is managed by Pilot placing levers into Throttle Detents which are labeled TO, Climb, Cruise, Etc.
The reasoning is that N 1 Values are limited by FADEC to prevent over thrust and engine damage and assists Pilot thrust settings in various phases of flight..
Registered FSUIPC allows our FADEC programming to "see" hardware Lever positions for accurate FADEC control.:bump:

question

To be sure, owners of the F9 version did not get any discount on the FSX version?

Thanks in advance

Yeah and talking about screenies, anyone care to post some fresh shots? And how are the frames? I'm always a bit cautious when it comes to glass cockpits, they can be heavy:kilroy:

Ok, one is all I have time for right now guys. Reduced from 1680X1050 to 1024.
Not quality so I overlaid the 1680 FPS Counter on the 1024 to give you an idea of what I see.
Pretty much plain vanilla FSX/SP2 with GEX and no DX10 preview.
It may be a while before I can update shots so Bannana Bob and Nick C. are welcome to contact me.:173go1:
