Hi Roland,
Yes there was. There were three Lightning packs, of which I only owned Pack 2. Not sure about the other packs, but pack 2 definitely had wing tanks.
Pack 2 contained I believe the F.3 and F.6 versions. I haven't toyed with the Lightning in a while, but I think I recall there being a switch in the VC that could be used to toggle the overwing tanks on & off, along with missiles and the refueling probe.

A very nice model indeed, good old Alphasim. Great coding on the tanks control as well.

I have that pack too, and you control the overwing tanks with the concorde nose controls. You can display the tanks, refueling probe, both or neither.
