Update:
I've been down the rabbit hole, converting all of my modeling for the new 64bit platforms.
To answer Yoyo's question, the F7F translated to v4 perfectly. There are some rather extensive tweaks needed for the 3DS Max model to work in the new SDK, but the changes won't affect the existing model in a negative way. The model was built with 64bit taken into consideration.
I installed the new GTX1080 TI GPU this week, so now I can look at making some good video of the Tigercat in P3Dv4 in full immersive mode. The early test edits are very nice.
Thanks for your patience guys, and ladies, my work load is gigantic and the 64bit conversion of the work is a bit like eating a herd of elephants. lol
