File Library Teams

ALL THE CWDT FS2004 STUFF IS DONE. YOU CAN DELETE THEM FROM THE OLD SERVER. I HAVE ONE I SCREWED UP ON AND COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DELETE IN THE NEW SERVER FS2004 SO I EDITED IT AND NAMED IT "DELETE THIS PLANE" LOL. I'M NOT TOUCHING ANDREW'S CFS2 STUFF.
 
Dave, I'll work in conjunction with Captain Kurt on the CFS2 downloads. I'm in contact with him via email.

You mentioned you would like to change the number of downloads. Does this mean reducing the number by perhaps amalgamating downloads by authors no longer active?
 
No what that means is on the old server File X had 2,000 downloads. We put it on this server and now it has 0. I would like to start off here with the 2,000 it had from over there. That isn't possible right at the moment.

Why are you keeping a global table? Doesn't every forum have a "File Library Teams" thread? Would be better to just make a Category list in the "File Library Teams" for that form and list every category that applies to it and list if a person is uploading it?

We do need to get better organized in CFS2.

We are underway so far:
I'm doing theCFS2 German aircraft
I finished the CFS2 Utilities
Kevin (kdriver) and I are collaborating on the CFS2 WW1 aircraft
Kevin is doing the CFS2 Scenery
Allen is interested in the CFS2 American aircraft
Stuart277 wants to do the CFS2 Ships

Allen, your PDF is 95% Correct. However to credit the author what you need to do is once you have saved the file you will see this

Click on the 3 dots which will open. Choose Reassign resource and it will let you remove you as the author and type or paste in the file authors name. Save and then you are done

When I get a Wrench or Sword...Wait wrong site we don't hand Wrenches or Swords here when you become a staff or a moderator.

Anyway, once I do get the Reassign Resource option I'll update the PDF about how to be given a staff role and put info how to change ownership of the upload.

Updated the PDF. Still the same link. Added a bit about contacting Dave for Resource Editor access and how to change ownership of a upload since I now have Resource Editor access.

If it all looks good it may be worth uploading to the Resource Library it self.
 
I would be more than happy to help in any way that I can especially considering how much help I received both directly and indirectly over the years from numerous SOH members. That includes way before the hack but under a different handle.

Just tell me when, where and how.
