Finished studying

Jaxon

virtually there
I wondered, if I should post.

But I read about your highs and lows here, so I want to share mine:

After my army time, I began to study at age 27 between all the fresh-from-school early twens.

I did not receive as much help as expected, so I needed to work to pay my bills. The result was, I was in fact only half the week a student.
So that explains, why I needed that long.

But I wanted to do this and followed my own instinct. For sure, there would have been easier things one could have choosed.

Engineering & management is the best translation for my study course.
In fact, it really is like doing two courses at once and even normal students need their time.
An example: When I put all my ring binders next to each other, only the backs give a length of 4 (four!) meters (~13 feet).

Well, today I had to give a presentation about my diploma thesis to defend it and show that I know, what I wrote about (and to make sure, that really I am the author).
It was the last test-situation in my studying career and I finished my diploma-thesis with a very good 1,3 (1,0 is best; 6,0 is worst).

I could not perform always at this level, especially because I had to work half of the week.
But for the final goal, I gave all to show I can, once the circumstances allow it.
So, I am a little bid proud now.

I hope, I still will have some time for CFS2 - even when many jobs are well paid now, but also need alot of time.

A virtual one on my tab for all please!

That, my friend,is something you can always be proud of. Hear, Hear ... and a hearty "WELL DONE"!:applause:

Congratulations Jaxon!
You have every reason to be proud, probably even more than the other students because of your circumstances and the effort you have put forth. Let me buy you one too!:ernae:

Well done Jaxon, I remember starting my apprenticeship at the age of 25 and having all my fellow students around 15-17 years old. In the long run study and achievement are vitally important and I wish you all the best in your career. You should be very proud and thanks for sharing your news with us, CONGRATULATIONS :applause:

Congrats Jaxon! You have every right to be proud, to thump your chest and do a really horrible Tarzan yell. A full pint of the best English Bitter virtual money can buy for ya!

I know how ya feel Jaxon. I Graduated College last Month.

...I still get nightmares of missing exams, class, ect....:d

Congratulaions Jaxon. I know how much work it is and the things you have to sacrifice. I was 37 when I got my Engineers Diploma after working full time and studying part time, while taking care of a family. Again, congratulations and I wish you good luck in your career.:applause::applause::applause::applause:

Great work Jaxon. Iknow just how demanding it is to add to your qualifications while you are still working. Never mind the beer...you deserve a bottle of Dom Perignon!!
:applause::applause::applause::applause:

Congratulations Jaxon!!!

I know how hard it is to work and go to school at the same time. It took me over 20 years to get my degree, but I am proud of the accomplishment because of that effort. I think that you should be very proud too.

I remember when I finished my degrees - the first response was Whoof:isadizzy:, I can't believe I actually did it - closely followed by Yee Haa:greenbo:, I actually did it.

Well done Jaxon - this one is for you:icon29:, heck have 2:icon29:, you earned them

congratulations
Gavin

Jaxon,

Congratulations! I was much older than you when I completed my degree because I also had to work. It is much more appreciated this way.
