But I read about your highs and lows here, so I want to share mine:
After my army time, I began to study at age 27 between all the fresh-from-school early twens.
I did not receive as much help as expected, so I needed to work to pay my bills. The result was, I was in fact only half the week a student.
So that explains, why I needed that long.
But I wanted to do this and followed my own instinct. For sure, there would have been easier things one could have choosed.
Engineering & management is the best translation for my study course.
In fact, it really is like doing two courses at once and even normal students need their time.
An example: When I put all my ring binders next to each other, only the backs give a length of 4 (four!) meters (~13 feet).
Well, today I had to give a presentation about my diploma thesis to defend it and show that I know, what I wrote about (and to make sure, that really I am the author).
It was the last test-situation in my studying career and I finished my diploma-thesis with a very good 1,3 (1,0 is best; 6,0 is worst).
I could not perform always at this level, especially because I had to work half of the week.
But for the final goal, I gave all to show I can, once the circumstances allow it.
So, I am a little bid proud now.
I hope, I still will have some time for CFS2 - even when many jobs are well paid now, but also need alot of time.
