FlightGear ?'s

I went to download FlightGear, and noticed the screen shots. They're amazing!

Now, I was was wondering how FlightGear is on the resources compared to FSX. Can I run it easily with autogen tree stuff?

Amazing compared to what? FS2000? X-plane even looks better...

As for the performance, you can try it yourself as it is free. :kiss:

If you can run FSX I am sure you could run flightgear.

Hey EMorris,

Show some screenshots if you can when its running.


I downloaded the Mac version, but it might have been a very early edition. They could use some of the FS developers newest planes in that sim.


I have heard alot of positive feedback on it, and that it is growing very fast. Lets hope it grows into one awesome sim!

Here are some shots from the sim. It appears to have damage modeling only in flight, not when crashing into a field. The 3D clouds are amazing.
