E emorris Members + Apr 1, 2009 #1 I went to download FlightGear, and noticed the screen shots. They're amazing! Now, I was was wondering how FlightGear is on the resources compared to FSX. Can I run it easily with autogen tree stuff? Thanks

K Kiwikat Motorcycling Kat Apr 1, 2009 #2 Amazing compared to what? FS2000? X-plane even looks better... As for the performance, you can try it yourself as it is free. If you can run FSX I am sure you could run flightgear.

L Lionheart SOH-CM-2014 Apr 1, 2009 #4 Hey EMorris, Show some screenshots if you can when its running. I downloaded the Mac version, but it might have been a very early edition. They could use some of the FS developers newest planes in that sim. I have heard alot of positive feedback on it, and that it is growing very fast. Lets hope it grows into one awesome sim! Bill
