@jgf I think what @PhrogPhlyer said was that this is not the place to badmouth other sites, for whatever reason. I get that you and @Jon_aus are miffed about having been banned after so many years, but lets just leave it at that and enjoy what we have here.

Miffed? Not at all. It's the irony of being banned from something that no longer exists. And 1000 points? How juvenile, lol. It is the loss of all those threads and, probably, the libraries, I lament. I had 27 good years there ...that's longer than my marriage and three ladyfriends.

I agree to disagree. There's a lot of emotion going 'round about the takeover of flightsim.com. We already have quite a few members of the site that are members here, so I think that it is good to let them ventilate. Only in the best possible taste of course!

This board is called "Ickie's NewsHawks" for a reason. Just like the cantina, it serves other purposes than just flightsim.
