Amazing the amount of modelling that goes into aircraft now. Models from CFS days seem like stick figures in comparison. For those without Facebook ( perfectly understandable ), Flying Iron posted these shots of the Spitfire's dedicated rebuild for FS24. No responses to queries about the B-17, which is a little worrying, but this new Spitfire will be a definite purchase for me.

The 3D modeler, Iakov Aizenberg, has his own ArtStation page which can be found here, in which the renders can also be viewed: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qJdNvP
As can already be seen by the renders, the new MSFS 2024 Spitfire Mk.IX will have the option to install either the earlier reflector gun sight, or the later gyro gun sight (as installed in all operational Mk.IX Spitfires by May 1944/ahead of D-Day). On Iakov Aizenberg's ArtStation page, he also states that there will be the option of different gauges/instrumentation based on time period. This also coincides with FlyingIron having mentioned a little while back that this new 2024 version of their Spitfire Mk.IX will feature early and late external models, with both the early (short) and late (tall) rudder.
