Flying online

Good evening friends,
it is about one hour ago Jochen and finished our first online flight together.
We just made a little flight together with our UH-1D helicopters from Sion to Bex.
Just a little hop but how much fun we had.
So the first step for flying together inline has been done. Other steps will follow.
It is one experiance more and open one horizont more of the good old FS2004.
We are at the beginning to experiance that. I am sure that we will dicover a lot of more fun.
As it was sooooo long time ago that I tried to make online flying Jochen with a lot of patiance explained me well what to do.
So thanks to him we had a real funny time
I hope that other will join us .
The biggest problem after beeing able to come together one specified airfield is to have the same planes
and sceneries on our oc' s. But certainly not unsolvable LOL

I've always wanted to try some honest formation flying or do some air-to-air refueling. :D

With my ISP, I'll just choose a screen name of "Lag". :giggle:
 
Welcome to online flying Michael. I started online with FS2004 way back in the day and progressed through FSX, FSX:SE and now P3D. I still fly online 6-7 nights per week with a good friend and we have been all over the world in our online travels. I only fly off-line for testing purposes and fly online for FUN in real weather however bad that might get. We usually fly piston engine aircraft with steam gauges but will sometimes venture into turboprops and very rarely into jets and/or glass cockpits. We even fly helos from time to time but one type you will never find us in are fast moving military jets of the 21st century, our love for mil jets stops in the 1960s!
 
Hey everybody,
yes online flight with Michael through the Rhone Valley(swiss alps) towards Ginebra Lake was a great experience. Myself had been online flying ages ago, when bandwith was very poor still.
We used the same mesh, same sceneries, same Modell with different liveries of Bell UH1D and Michael's Panels... Our 'dream' is to fly UH1D in formation to remember this legend, the big brother of legendary Bell47G2. Who wants to share - u will be very welcome ...:icon30:l
