• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Pat, there are two more RAAF paints in my textures on the FR site, and they should be fine for v4.5. Still working on updates for v5...

I cannot buy cause transaction is rejected.
Process repeat does not help.
Strange as first time experienced such quirk.

Artur, may I suggest that if you have problems like that, you should contact the selling agency. I fail to see that this complaint bears any positive contribution to this thread.

I understand that creator of B24 visits this forum, so he should be aware that his potential customers have basic issues with purchasing his product, but maybe i am wrong ...

Hi Artur,

Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately I have no control over this side of things. The store e-commerce is handled by FastSpring, based in California, who are just about one of the most reliable web stores in existence. I've used them for almost 20 years, without a problem. The few rejections I've seen have been due to either problems with purchaser funds or their credit card company's software being too slow to respond to the store's request for confirmation, and the transaction is terminated. As well, slow download bandwidth (which may also have interfered with your earlier attempt to purchase) may be something completely out of their hands, and could be equally due to your own provider as theirs. Bandwidth does seem a little slower everywhere these days, perhaps because of the number of people at home.

But thanks for persevering!
 
Artur, Mike has a website with his contact information on it. There is no need to spread this here.

I will leave this side conversation as a reminder for others to address any marketing concerns, financial concerns or gripes about the product first and foremost to the developers. They have their means to deal with that.
That is all I will say to this now. Please stick to it.

Can you explain this section of the manual for on supercharging?

"In P3Dv4.5 and up, these controls do not work, but the supercharging option in
the aircraft.cfg will give the necessary MP."

Is that just changing the entry in the cfg from 0 to 1 or something else?

Hi Steve. You don't have to do anything, it's set for you (assuming you can get 49" MP at 23,500 ft). It's really just saying how the aircraft.cfg differs from the FSX version.
 
This looks fantastic!

Have you considered doing the PB4Y-2, now that this is shipped? I'd buy it as an add-on for this package. :)
 
As mentioned on the FSX forum, if you're curious as to how P3D and FSX have stacked up, here's how the first two days of sales have gone:

P3Dv4.5 = 22%

P3Dv5 = 22%

FSX/P3D to v3 = 56%


Wouldn't necessarily read too much into it, could well change over time and it may just apply to the demographic interested in WW2 bombers, etc..
