Freeware early model 747..?

Was there a freeware 747-200 or 300 released in the past month or two? I seem to remember reading something like that while in the middle of my move and I lost track of it. Or was I just dreaming?
 
Not sure what Tom is replying to, but it seems to have ended up in the wrong thread :icon_lol:

I don't think there was a release of a new 747-200 but a discussion on the proper operation of the former Payware one you can find at the major sites...I think it was originally a CLS model.

I don't know what I was doing - I thought I was on another thread on a completely different board! A user had posted a couple of pics of a ramper using an ice stick on the top of the wing prior to push, and didn't know what it was for...
 
Thanks guys. I thought I had seem something else besides the POSKY one. Could be mistaken though.
 
Can someone please explain how one gets the gauges and switches to show up in the cockpits of these aircraft (RFP B-747 passenger and freight aircraft)? I downloaded the base kit into a temporary holding folder, then installed by hand into FS9 "Aircraft" folder. Gauges went into the FS9 "Gauges" folder with copies into the panel folders. The Panel master folder, containing both panels, went into the "Aircraft" folder as well. When I call up the aircraft, I get the basic panel bitmaps but all gauges on the pilot's side are missing, as are switches, etc on the pop-up panels. Normally the routine described above will allow the gauges to display on everything else. What's different about this panel?
