FS Addon Super Cub is at Simmarket

I have to agree. Simon's work is coming on in leaps and bounds (although I'll be honest, my personal preference is that I prefer Pekka's worn tyres to Simon's factory fresh ones... That's just me. :engel016:)

If I could afford it, I'd have bought this already. It has definitely been added to the list, though.

I like both new and older aged tires. So, I hope a paint can be downloaded----Pekka ???? Is your paint finished?:icon29:
I recall, correct me if wrong, that years ago a J-3 was made by ---Golden Age?----that had a dirty paint included. That paint had dusty corners in all glass sections, streaks of grime, rust?, etc. And dirty tires, perhaps? Anyway, I look forward to paints showing a bit of wear and tear. :running:

As to the appearance of real tundra tires, yes, I've seen a few, maybe even a thousand over the years, and some looked new probably because they were, some looked old but washed, and some looked dirty or muddy. All I touched were soft and smooth as a baby's bottom, so to speak, if you know what I mean.

And I bought this super cub and like it. I've used Simon's banner freeware from previous years and another freeware release by a fellow whose name starts with "N" but I can't recall it right now, sorry. They worked in FSX but this FSX native Accel SP2 payware is very, very, very, much better. I've only a few flights but I like the smooth flight handling and the landings with both floats and tundra tires are great. A kind of soft bouncing with tundra tires on gravel strips? Or is it just me, LOL? :ernae:

I've got find some proper beaches, yes, of course, well, I really must fly.........................later. :medals:

I'm doing some paints after I get my hands on the paintkit. I did one quick paint just by painting over one ready paint template, but it's not an ideal way of doing paints because you lose all the panel lines and such. But you can be sure that my paints will be weathered:icon_lol:. And I'll see if I can include my scruffy tires with them.

By the way this thing side slips beautifully:ernae:

Paint kit ? Where is that?
Several VCs but I like that open door view of the tire, lol. Elevator trim and engine settings are very neat, very effective, and the left side glass vents are a nice touch. :ernae::medals:

Just received an email from Simon in which he says the 'paintkit will be ready soon'...... more news when I have it :wavey:

I wanted to get this from FSAddon's site because that's where I got the 1st one how ever it didn't work. Followed there instructions, got the coupeon pic then when to Buy Now and got that started filling in the required info then went and clicked on coupon tab message comes up saying the coupon not valid, OK then I"ll just get it at the full price nope wouldn't let me do that either. Now since buying the orginal one my email addy has changed would that be causing a problem?

High flying getting over 12,000 feet easily with manual mixure, DX9, full realism. Smooth. Weather default Fair Weather.

Thanks Francois, perhaps I'll try painting ---ahem, my efforts are not really worthy of public usefulness, eh, not just yet, but since this supercub release is an inspiration, I shall dismount my high horse for another humble education.

Marvelous screeny pekka, quite a dramatic feeling of the supercub world.

Just a quick heads-up here: the Flight1 Coupon Software, needed to provide the promised 50% to Fligth1 customers of our earlier Cub, is currently not working for us.

I'm awaiting support from Steve Halpern to get things fixed. Until then simMarket customers get their discount already, Flight1 customers will have to wait a little bit longer until the problems get fixed.

Sorry ! :kilroy:

Short Info for all Super Cub Fans - Bernhard Lechner did 3 very nice Paints for this Beauty - up at flightsim.com. Very well done work !!!!:ernae:

Greetings :wavey: Dirk

Well I have put some hours on the new suprecub and I am very happy with it, however the cowl doors seem to open up at random times, how can I disable this function? the "I" button does not help. Thanks

PROBLEM SOLVED !

The discount coupon now works..... or rather, we now have a new Cub file that accepts the discount coupon ;-)

Thanks everybody for the patience !

I'll upload the paintkit tomorrow....... :wavey:

As per my OP, it does it when I touch most any switch on my joy stick. I want to disable it in the programing files or where ever its at, so how is it done? Thanks.

I don't know, it doesn't happen anywhere but on your PC it seems. Pronably a sticky key or something.

But for true support, please visit our dedicated support forums. There you'll find the developer of the plane, who may or may not have other ideas about your problem.
