FS Global 2008

Has anyone tried FS Global 2008? It's a little pricey, but might be worth it. Will it slow down my machine to a crawl?

I bought FSGlobal 2005 back when it came out, then bought 2008 when it came out. I currently use 2008 on both FS9 and FSX installations. I like it. Doesn't seem to have slowed down my computer, even the old slow one.

Thanks Paul. As the quality of the AC gets better, the landscape doesn't look so good in comparison. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Hey Paul, I too have FSGlobal2005 since then, read the specs for 2008 and could not really see much difference. Am I missing something or can you see any difference? Seems it's still 76m worldwide except the usual small high-def areas like Hawaii.

I bought 2008 when I bought FSX, and then started using 2008 for FS9 as well. I didn't notice any difference either.
