FS20 vs FS24 smoothness comparison

A data heavy "smoothness" comparison between FS20 and FS24. If you just want the basics, watch the intro until the taxi out, then skip ahead to "The Data : FPS" section.

 
On my rig, 2024 is so much smoother it's crazy. 2020 has always had moments of hitching for me. 2024 doesn't, it remains smooth almost all the time. That's why "just fly that one in 2020" isn't an option I'll take.
 
Both run well on machine. But I use MS2024 as the streaming of scenery saves space on SSD compared to MS2020. More space to me equals happy Hanger for AC and Eggbeater.
 
On my rig 2020 is smooth as butter. I don't see any reason to move over until they get their control assignments sorted.

Oh that I agree with you and I also liked 2020 no career mode lol. Just wanted the option to stream or DL. If I had that I wouldn't have fs2024 prop gas contamination and engine fumes headaches lol.
