FS2004 BAE Hawk Mk.120, SAAF #271 "Vlaggie"

Hello there peole

I have received a request to paint this scheme early this week and quickly finshed them off. :kilroy:

This repaint is of a SAAF BAE Hawk Mk.120 #271 of 85 Combat Flying School (85 CFS) in the South African flag colours. During the service life of the Atlas Cheetah, a certain Cheetah with #307 was painted in the South African Flag colours and did airshow displayes around the country and was know as "Vlaggie" in Afrikaans. During the Cheetah phase-out in April 2008, the SAAF painted the South African Flag colours onto two of its new BAE Hawk Mk.120's. The first was #271 and the second #272. The unveiling of the new new colour scheme was at Africa Aerospace and Defence 2008 (AAD2008) where it did it's first display in that scheme. This repaint has a few differences to it then the real scheme because of textures made by the developers that could not be changed like the real thing for example, missile rails, smurfs, fins and flap hinges are white and not in real life and the flap hinge housings are blue on the red underwing and red on the blue underwing,

Only #271's screenshots have been posted here but I have painted #272 also.

I have uploaded the new repaints to http://www.flightsim.com. The the ex-payware now freeware DSB Design BAe Hawk 100 LIFT should already be in your flight infantry.

Here is a few screenshots of the repaint:
