FS2004 Screenshots Here!!!

Don't be hatin' too hard on FS2002. :a1310:

I basically maxed it out with what I wanted and converted a ton of FS9 aircraft and gauges to run in it.
The only downside was losing weather coverage (although I did save enough global weather for some year-round variation).

I still fire it up every now and then, FS2002 still beats FS9 in some graphic areas. It just looks better at dawn, dusk, and night. :wiggle:

Homebound.

BTW, yes Pete (@Motormouse), I did say IL-76, and I DO love me some Silk Liners! :encouragement:

IL-76TD-90 for FS2004; another work in progress by me.

Platinum Wings Album Update.

Good evening everyone!

Just had a chance to take a break from real world stuff and found some screenshots from last year I forgot to upload with the rest of the files. Thought I'd add them here for you folks:

The last three shots are the latest ones. They are of the H1 pumping station in Iraq, but are representative of the line I've been working on for a while that goes from Kirkuk all the way to the Mediterranean.

Still haven't figured out a way to make the famous "Furrow" yet, but it would have been along the line connecting most of the pumping stations I've made so far. I would guess I would have to use one of the "dirt road" lines, but we'll see.

In any case, I'd have to get rid of the modern roads all over the place out there first. One thing at a time! :dizzy:

Thanks Alex :)
Since I'm more of a learning developer, and not content with overwhelming myself to death, this won't be study-level whatsoever. System wise, it's more on par with the default jets, i.e. not too complicated; just get up and go (though I may have to write instructions for the autopilot, which itself was a PITA to develop).

Platinum Wings Album Update.

Awesome additions since last album release. Really enjoyable enhancements of vintage environment. But how many people would appreciate yout tremendous work? Experiences I made on other sites are simply shameful.

Yet another cargo run to the land of a million drums.
(not a joke; this Antonov was supposed to be in the 2002 Scooby-Doo movie)

When I was in the army, we used a song from that movie called, "Man With the Hex," as a running cadence. The cadence caller would call out one part of the song, then we'd call back the "question" part. Don't think we did all the lyrics, just went with the start of the song back and forth a few times!

For a model this age it even has an unexpected nice VC (I did raise the resolution for the VCs in the panel configuration file to 1024X1024)

Still work in progress...
