The Spitfire PA944 is most probably the most famous photo reconnaissance Spitfire used by the USAAF, as it even has its own documentary.
You can watch the documatary about work by the Photo Reconnaisance Unit, the wheelsup landing of this aircraft and its pilot here at YouTube:
Of course I had to do a repaint of this aircraft

This was planned to be my last PR. XI Spitfire repaint, until I learned the aircraft official asigned to the pilot was a Spitfire named "Oh Johnny". And "Oh Johnny" will the last repaint form this series.
For those who don't know the model by Chris Lampard and Shessi, I can really recommend it. Its a very nice model, which flies very nice as well. And it has an auto pilot, which is very useful when you plan a mission from RAF Farm Mount to Berlin........
Below "Oh Johnny" I will try to upload all these repaints during the next week.

Cheers,
Huub
