FS2004: the Super Simulator

All I know is: I have tried FSX for the last time. I have enough of a good machine to run FS9 pretty much maxed out. My only hope is that microsoft will go on to a better program in FS11 or all you great developers for FS9 live forever. I don't want to end up tossing money at FSX just to keep coming up short.(I sure loved watching the taxi lights moving around at night though) So if anyone would like my copies of FSX, FSX Deluxe, and FSX acceleration they are going cheap, cheap, cheap.:icon_lol:

Ol' jarhead (signing off from the FSX airwaves)

Perhaps if you would have read the forum a little bit more seriously, you would have understood that investing in a poor dual core was not very smart, and a big video card is more like a waiste of money for FSX. FSX is CPU-Memory-only.

:kilroy:

Perhaps if you would have read under his forum name a little bit more seriously, you would have understood that investing in such condescending words was a waste of breath, as his join date is nov. 2008. perhaps this man was not around here back when fsx first came out, or didnt get the chance to read all the good threads before the crash of the database, etc.

Agreed,..
Daube, don't let a new member with only 2 posts get under your skin with this thread that he started:)

And he really should have adressed his problems with FSX in that forum. He won't find much help with FSX in the FS9 forum. Kind of like asking for help with CFS 3 in the CFS 2 forum.

I know this doesn't help much, but my Fry's electronics out here does actually have FS2004 copies, still. I just bought one for archival purposes, as discussed here. Only $19.99; maybe it can still be ordered from www.frys.com. Try there, fellas. :ernae:

"condescending" ? It's not the kind of impression I wanted to give to my words.
I registered in forums for the first time when I was trying to get Falcon4 working on my PC back in 2003 or something. I didn't register immediately to those forums to make post that looked like complaints. My second post was not something like "Falcon 4 is from 1998 and my computer can't run it, WTF ? I reinstalled EF2000 and it rocks...". I took the time to read first what was going on with that sim, tried to gather some info and then I registered to ask question about what I could not understand.
That's what I meant with "seriously", sorry if it sounded like an insult, it sounds just like logic to me. (but again, english is not my mother tongue). :/
