FS9 Crashing

I keep having problems with FS9 crashing to desktop at random times. Most often when I open my GPS or switch to map view etc. I looked it up online and have already tried (and in this order):

1.Reinstalled FS9
2. Renamed olecc.dll
3. Rebuilt FS9 config file
4. Uninstalled ActiveSky after reading about some probs with file corruption etc.

Anybody got any other ideas?

Have you cleaned out the computer internals, as in blown out all the dust, reseated memory, video cards, ensure fans are working, run memory tests, disk integrity checks?

Thanks Milton! - I'll have a look at those. In all honesty, its been a couple of months since I got rid of the dust bunnies in the computer. Maybe a vacum cleaner and a can o' air might help. In the meantime, I've come to the realization that it had been happening in the same area of the map most of the time. I've removed all my CYYC and area scenery. Maybe that'll help too.
