FS9 still kicking

Very nice video.
Yes indeed it still looks good. What scenery were you using ?
And why did you deactivate the HUD ? The Mistubishi F-2 HUD has to be the most realistic freeware HUD for FS9.

feng you are clearly of the ADD generation, your Moth video has an average clip focus of 2.25 seconds and makes me airsick...maybe that's the idea? :)

The scenery for the Moth vid had me chewing my monitor with envy! Those mountains and clouds are nothing short of spectacular.

Those videos were amazing! I have never seen FS9 look so real...well, maybe in Thunderbolt's screen shots. A few others have their FS9 tweaked and modded to that level of realism too...but not many. I was totally blown away by how realistic everything looked.

Yes, FS9 is still kicking...and kicking hard. There is plenty of life left in this old sim, just as there is plenty of life left in CFS2, CFS3...heck, even CFS1 still sees new stuff produced every now and then. As long as there are folks making scenery, doing skins, modeling aircraft, making sounds, tweaking clouds and water and trees...as long as WE, the users of FS9, continue to keep pumping fresh blood into it, this old sim will continue to live.

thanks for the comments everyone.

I'm even amazed on how good FS9 can look w/ the right add-ons. Latley i've been tweaking Active Sky and putting in some crazy settings such as 50,000ft cloud heights, etc...the results are stunning!

I'm looking forward to MS next's flightsim....tho i have a feeling it might be more like HAWX than FS9/FSX...
