• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

FS9 Virtuavia Lightning

Hi All,

I was looking for the Virtavia EE Lightning and I found the three packages for FS2002/CFS2 on the Virtavia/Alphasim freeware site. Did they release another version for FS9? If they did, does anybody know where I can buy it? I checked all the usual payware sites but didnt see anything.

I have the F.3 and the F.6 version of the ALPHA EE Lightning, both were released as FS9 models. It has been a long while tho, not sure what happened to the models.

It seems to have been removed from sale, but is not (yet) freeware.
I don't know where you might find it mow. A pity, as the three packs are the best for FS9, and the only versions of the 'Tub' to be had anywhere.

I could be wrong but I can't remember it ever making an appearance under the Virtavia banner (as many others didn't too). I'm sure I've seen various 'updates' for it on the web to increase FSX compatibility but it may be that you need the original in order for the updates to work.
Agree with Dave that it was a nice model. I particularly liked the twin-holers:encouragement:
